Past History
Deepak was born in Rasuwa, the place is rich in natural resources. Langtang mountain range stands to the north of Rasuwa. The northern parts of the area largely fall within the boundaries of Langtang National Park. Gosainkunda Lake, Ganja La Pass, and Tamang village in Bridim are the major highlights of Rasuwa for tourism. The Gosainkunda Lake, also known as "Frozen Lake", one of the most beautiful mountain lakes lies in the Langtang region. There are about 108 kundas (lakes) in this area. Saraswati Kund, Bhairab Kund, Surya Kund and Gosainkund are most important ones. Langtang valley is another attraction in Rasuwa which is aptly called the valley of glaciers; mountains raise soaring toward the sky. The valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snow-capped peaks, grassy down and meadows strewn with daisies and wild animals. Rasuwa is known as a hilly area. The life of the people of that place is difficult because the condition of the soil and the geographical structure of the place also not favorable for the agriculture. Even due to the transportation, they could not have more options for survive the life differently.
Present
There are seven members in Deepak’s family. They are three younger brothers and one elder sister. His father was working as labor in the construction side of the villages and mother is a house wife. They have small house with two rooms and they keep one cow and some hens and cocks. They have traditional life style and living the life in their own rituals. They have a piece of land where they grow corn, rice, wheat and potatoes though it’s not enough for the year so that his father used to go far places for work. When he back from work he used to bring oil, salt, rice, dal, curry and other necessary items for daily use. Due to the poverty Deepak is living as a helper in Kathmandu. School is far from his residence though his three brothers and a sister used to go every day. The quality of education provided there is not comparable with OGN. Father dreams to see him as an Army and he also wants the same. Let’s wish him to achieve his aim. Thank you for your support hopes your support will help him to achieve his aim.
